JCP conducts its first Jersey Charitable Sector Survey

Jersey Charitable Sector Survey 2017

17 Mar 2017

The Jersey Community Partnership has partnered with KPMG to launch a sector survey, the first of its type, to gather vital insights into the voluntary and charity sector in Jersey.

The survey closed in February with responses from 197 different organisations, a superb response rate.

Results will start to become available in April 2017, and will be shared on this site.

This inaugural survey focused on how charities and voluntary organisations view themselves, how they raise funds, how they are organised, who volunteers for them, how they feel about legislative changes and what support they feel they have or need from government or the community.

Outcomes will be shared with the charitable sector, government and media, and JCP will use the data to help the sector and its donors identify opportunities for further collaboration.

Given the success of this inaugural survey it is our intention to run the survey annually in future.
