New service launching to support families in Jersey

Searching for a Family Liaison Manager

We're looking for a special person to support families of Jersey children with life-limiting conditions and who require treatment off-island. Are you someone, or do you know someone who can navigate the various sources of information, support, services and funding that are available; do you have a thorough understanding of the needs of children and their families who are coming to terms with a new diagnosis or are using the services for the first time? Would you like to make a real difference to the lives of our families at a time when they need it the most?

This role and service is operated by LV Home Care on behalf of the Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation and in collaboration with a large cluster of associated children’s charities and the Jersey Community Partnership.

The service will provide a professional point of contact for families who need guidance, support and help navigating resources, services and funding provided by government and voluntary organisations.

Following the service launch, the role will provide support to families of Jersey children with illnesses who, in general, require off-island treatment. Through a dedicated helpline, meetings and literature, the Liaison Manager will provide structured support to ensure families gain access to the necessary information, help and support.
